André Tanneberger, was born on February 26, 1973, in Freiberg, Saxony, East Germany, and is better known by his stage name ATB, is a German DJ and producer of electronic dance music, particularly known for his work in trance.
He began his music career with the dance project Sequential One in the early 1990s. His first solo single under the alias ATB, “9 PM (Till I Come),” was released in 1998 and became a number one hit in the UK, establishing his reputation in the trance music scene.
ATB’s music is characterized by its melodic, uplifting trance sound, often incorporating vocals, piano, and his trademark guitar riffs in earlier tracks.
ATB has been a significant figure in the trance and electronic dance music scene, with his music gaining popularity worldwide, especially in Europe, the USA, and Asia. He’s known for his ability to evolve his sound while maintaining his unique identity in the music industry.
ATB continues to perform and produce music, maintaining a strong connection with his fan-base through social media and live performances.
In May 2024, Tanneberger announced that his upcoming album in 2025 would be his last studio album, citing changes in music consumption patterns. However, he intends to continue producing singles and performing live.
